When two people with the same last name are booked in the same hotel, they are forced to kindle a budding friendship into a possible romance. Watch Me As I Go is the fifth feature film by Daniel Lotz, which stars fantastic talent from Elizabeth Lotz, Joel Dik, and voice talents from Trent Lenkarski.
Watch Me As I Go is a personal love letter to the places and people we meet out in the world. Similar to my own story, I met my wife online, and many of our first adventures were hanging out investigating and enjoying each others conversation. I wanted to make a film that felt like a fly on the wall of very personal and intimate moments of discovering a romance and I think me and my wife succeeded at that goal. I wanted to prove with a few days and some fun conversations you can make a compelling albeit short feature film that proves filmmaking is attainable to everyone. Go out and make your film! There is nothing stopping you!
Radio DJ dialogue written by Cody Clarke (credit wasn’t added to film).
